Getting straight to the point today. Just wanted to let you know, the next newsletter (next week) is going to be a Copenhagen City Guide. While my City Guides are for my paid subscribers, I currently have two up for free (Ibiza and Milan) for you to check out before committing.
Graphic Tees
I love a graphic tee from an underrated brand. So here are 3 you neeeeeed to know about:

Scuffers - I am always pretty weary about Instagram brands. My past experience tells me that these brands are better at marketing than they are at making clothes. However, Scuffers proved me wrong. This ultimate cool guy brand makes a great oversized boxy tee with designs as good as their quality.
EME Studios - A Spanish brand that seems to never miss. I have been buying their tees for ages and I am never disappointed. I love the oversized sleeves and cropped fit they provide. Their shirts are also 100% cotton, which I know not all cotton is made equally - but whatever variety of cotton Eme Studios uses is *chef’s kiss*.
about:blank - This UK based brand has a more minimalistic approach to their graphic tees - which I can appreciate. The sleek design makes them super easy to style. These shirts have a great weight on them that I really love.
End of Summer Micro Trends
What makes these end of summer trends? Nothing, absolutely nothing. I just have taken a long time to get around to reporting them - that’s all.
Rope Detail - Nautical themes have been big for SS24 so its only natural that rope detailing be trendy. I think this is a super easy trend to incorporate into any look. You can go so many ways: using a rope as a belt, to rope sandals, to rope bags.
Open Crochet/Weave Sweaters - I love a light summer sweater however they aren’t always conducive to comfort in the summer. EXCEPT when they are made in this open weave format. I find these incredibly chic on men.
Metallic - Not just for winter!! Can totally work for summer, too. If a metallic top or pants is too aggressive for you - implement the trend in a more low key way; like in your shoes or bags.
!! NEW BRAND ALERT !!
Because I do… well… this, brands reach out to me frequently and ask me to mention their products to my audience. The deal is, I will never take money from them - however I will accept no strings attached PR. If I like the clothing I will talk about it in my newsletter or TikTok and if I don’t, I won’t.
I want it to be clear that if I mention a brand, it isn’t because they are paying me, it’s because I genuinely believe in them.
ALLS THAT TO SAY, I have recently discovered a new brand via gifting. With A Beginner’s Mind is a brand inspired by Japanese Americana. The owner, Matt Pham, reached out to me to review his products and I absolutely fell in love with the fit and quality so I had to share with you guys.
His new Transition Overshirt is 10/10. The shirt has this great 1950’s inspired collar with corozo nut buttons and a contemporary fit. THE FIT. You guys, I wish more brands used his fit models because the fit is absolutely unreal. I actually forced a few of my guy friends to try on the shirt and it is flattering on so many body types.
This is a great summer to fall transition shirt that you neeeeed to get your hands on.
As always, thank you for being here xo
