What To Wear When You Have Nothing To Wear

Four outfit formulas made up of things that you probably already have in your closet. All of these looks would be great for day time activities.

LOOK 1: the basic uniform of summer

short sleeve collar shirt + chino shorts + Birkenstocks + sunglasses

Credit: Pintrest

styling notes:

  • you must accessorize this look so it doesn’t fall flat

  • side tuck the shirt like above

  • you can really use any sandal for this look, doesn’t have to be Birkenstocks

LOOK 2: stripes on stripes

vertical stripe button down + vertical stripe pants + sneaker + hat + sunglasses

Credit: Instagram @adamriker

styling notes:

  • defiantly do two different color stripes with this look

  • I like the stark contrast of the light colors and the black accessories

  • beaded necklaces or bracelets would look great with this

LOOK 3: vintage J crew

horizontal stripe polo + chinos + sandals + hat + sunglasses

Credit: Instagram @lostjcrew

styling notes:

  • roll up the chinos for a more carefree look

  • chinos should be more on the baggier side i.e J Crews Giant Fit Chino

  • you can do this look with a horizontal stripe tee instead of a polo

LOOK 4: sports themes for fashion

baseball jersey + tank + trousers + sneaker

Credit: ALD Look book Summer ‘24

styling notes:

  • only button the middle two buttons on the baseball jersey

  • hat isn’t necessary

  • any sneaker would work but a white sneaker would be easiest

Below are recreated looks inspired by the ones above + links, for my paid subscribers.
