Is it August? Yes. Is it still 100 degrees outside? Yes. But, just like your pre season fantasy football season rankings, I am here to give you some way too early fall trends.
I am SO ready for fall. From here on out, my content is converting to fall. City Guides, What To Wear When You Have Nothing To Wear, and Edits - all my series are going fall.
The Color Of The Season: Red
Dubbed the it girl color of last fall, red seems to be making it’s way to menswear this season. Cherry red was seen in abundance on the runways but burgundy and other adjacent tones were also pretty present. Now if a red sweater, pants or coat is a bit too aggressive for you - try using it in your accessories. There is nothing more chic than a pop of red on your socks or belt.
B(oooooo)t Cut Jeans
I am not so thrilled about this, hence the boo-ing (get it? get it?). But it looks like boot jeans are going to have a sort of renaissance this season. This is not to say the wide leg relaxed jeans are going anywhere just yet. I just think MAYBE the pendulum is starting to swing in the direction of more slim denim. WOMP.
No Need To Be (Di)Stressed
Last year was all about distressed leather, however this year there is none to be found in the big designer shows. We are back to wearing regular old shinny, unblemished leather.
Extra Long Extra Slim Coats
Its giving villan, but I’m not mad.
Tailoring Goes on Ozempic
It appearssss we will be seeing tailored looks with a more sharp, structured silhouettes instead of the loose and soft situation that has been going on.
Take The Plunge
Necklines will be plungggging. I guess we had to find a way to continue the slutty trend in 2024. Side note: this also means that V-necks will be pretty popular this season.
As always, thank you for being here and supporting me in this way xo
