Sunglasses For Your Face Shape

A good, well fitting pair of sunglasses can really complete an outfit. But the wrong pair will stick out like a sore thumb, on your face.

We want to compliment your features instead of fighting with them. Generally speaking, the shape of your sunglasses should contrast the shape of your face.

Just A Few Things To Keep In Mind…

Most of you don’t fit perfectly into just one category, it’s more than likely you’re a combination of a few of them.

Your face shape isn’t the only factor in finding your perfect sunglasses. You also have to consider your eyebrows, nose etc…

Use this as a guide but also inject your own personality into it.

Wear what makes you comfortable and confident!!

For An Oblong/Rectangle Face

Your face is longer than it is wide and the lines of your jaw and cheekbones are relatively rounded.

You can really pull off anything. However, maybe avoid a pair that that will make your face look longer than it is (i.e anything in a tear drop shape), so go for:

Go For: wrapped, shield, square, wayfarer and rectangular

For A Round Face

Your face is round, I feel like that’s pretty self explanatory?

We want to avoid round frames because it will just accentuate your round face. Instead, you want to add some sharpness and angles to the softness of your face, so go for:

Go For: rectangular, square, wrap and shield

For A Square Face

The width and length of your head are nearly identical, and you've got a nice squared off jaw.

You want to add some softness to the angels and structure of your face, so go for:

Go For: aviators and circular

For A Diamond Face

Length and width of your face are pretty similar, but the cheekbones are more pronounced, and the jaw well defined.

You want to compliment your high cheek bones, so go for:

Go For: oval, rectangular, and rimless

For A Triangular Face

Your forehead is wider than your chin, which narrows down with relatively straight lines.

Avoid anything with a thick straight top (it might accentuate the width of your forehead) - instead try rimless or semi rimless, so go for:

Go For: circular and aviator

For An Oval Face

Your face is a little longer than it is wide, and the jaw and cheekbones are slightly rounded. Your forehead is also a bit wider than your jaw.

You can really wear anything you want, lucky you. Go crazy.
