July is a hard month to stay focused for me. I JUST WANT TO PARTY. Everyday I find a reason to be out at a dinner or a happy hour or on the golf course drinking vodka lemonades.
Oh yah, and then there is everything going on in the world right now that’s quite distracting. Hurricanes, global outages, presidential candidates getting shot and dropping out?
ALLS THAT TO SAY, writing a fashion blog just feels… silly. I apologize for my lack of high value content. I swear, I’ll get my shit together for you all sooner and later.
In the mean time, this is what’s going on in my brain.
Summer Style Lessons From Harrison Ford
Harrison Ford is one of the most iconic actors in Hollywood, but young Ford also proved to be a menswear savant off-screen: consistently opting for classic pieces and elevating them with carefully considered accessories. Here are a few notes to take away from his epic summer style.
1. Swap your button down out for a polo under a blazer
2. A monochrome navy look is chic
3. Tunic collars are fun especially when you show a little chest with them

4. You can elevated any summer look with a good pair of sunglasses and a great belt

Slip On Loafers For Summer
Hender Scheme - I absolutely adore the Libido Slip On by Hender Scheme. First of all, this brown is stunning. Second, this shoe is so light and breathable because of the woven panel along the edge of foot. Who doesn’t need some extra ventilation with this summer heat. I can totally see this shoe styled with a wide leg flowly trouser, a tank and an unstructured blazer.
Jacques Soloivere - I mean, few things say summer quite like raffia. It’s no secret Jacques Soloivere is always making cool shit, but I think they have truly out done themselves with the Lex Raffia. These would look so great with some cuffed chinos or relaxed tailoring.
Carmina - If you’ve been following my TikTok for sometime, you know that Carmina is one of my favorite Spanish shoe markers. They have truly mastered the art of creating a high quality, comfortable leather shoe. AND THAT, is so rare these days. I think these shoes would make the perfect addition to any linen suit.
