This is long over due, I apologize.
The way I see it, you’ll only need 4 pants this spring.
pinstripe or vertical stripe pant (the trendy pant of the season)
a pair of light wash denim
a white or cream trouser or jean
a cotton + linen blend pant
So here are my recommendations (at a medium to expensive price point - hey listen, I don’t think you should skimp when it comes to pants) for each category.
Pinstripe or Vertical Stripe Pants
I know there so many doubters and haters all over my TikTok making fun of me for this take. But take a look at every red carpet, magazine cover and runway... every celebrity man is in a pinstripe trouser. So, whatever.

Light Wash Denim
Duh. I don’t really think this needs an explanation. I do have to admit, I am not a denim head. But I can fully attest that the quality of each one of these jeans are 10/10.

White or Cream Pants
A white or cream trouser or chino or even jean just makes an outfit inherently feel and look for “spring-y”. Even if you paired it with a black sweater, you’re still giving spring.

Cotton + Linen Blend Pants
For the days you just want to throw something on to be comfortable but chic. Something easy to run errands in. Linen pants are just as comfortable as sweat pants, if not more so.
