I’m late this week. Forgive me. I have no excuse. Let’s just jump into the good stuff.

Jackets
The only three jackets I think you need this spring:

A Field Jacket - The vintage military wear trend endures another spring. Rightfully so, stylistically speaking the field jacket is kind of the ideal spring jacket. Usefully, flattering and versatile enough to pair with just about anything. I like to call them the “un-blazer” - because they can serve the same function as a blazer but with a more creative and rugged twist.
A Windbreaker and/or Rain Jacket - or really anything nylon and weather resistant. I think it’s so fun to incorporate technical outer wear (especially colorful ones) into your everyday looks. Plus from a practical perspective, it makes a lot of sense considering spring weather can be so unpredictable.
A Shirt Jacket - A shirt jacket make for a great relaxed casual light jacket option. You can wear them by themselves or you can use them as a layering piece - we all know how functional a shirt jacket can be.
Outfit Formulas
graphic tee + stripped pants + sneaker : A lot to look at, yes. But so fun and isn’t that what spring dressing is all about?
oversized tee + high waisted shorts + loafer : It’s giving Riviera chic, need I say more?
knit polo + shorts + long socks + sneakers + hat : It’s relaxed, it’s fun, you’re pretty much ready for anything.
Things I Don’t Care About
I think a lot about clothes, style and fashion. Like a lot. I care about fashion probably more than I should. HOWEVER, there are a few things within fashion/situations in which I just do not care about. I thought I would share them to maybe get you to not stress about them either, or maybe just give you permission to care a little less.
I don’t care what you wear to the gym. Listen, it’s hard enough getting to the gym some days. I am a big advocate of wearing whatever makes that process easier. If that means a cut off shirt, the long shorts you’ve had since high school and mis-matched ankle socks - then so be it. You’re going to sweat and probably soon after throw the clothes in the washing machine. Getting the “perfect gym fit” sound useless to me.
Similarly, I don’t care what you wear on an airplane. If you want to dress up, dress up. If you want to dress down, dress down. Flying can be so anxiety provoking for some. Do what you have to do, wear what you have to wear to get through it.
I don’t care about seasonal fabrics/colors/washes. If want to wear brown corduroy pants for spring - do it. Pair it with a light colored top and some colorful sneakers and WA-LA, you’ve given it new life for spring. As long as your not over heating yourself, wear it.
I am fully aware of the hypocrisy that’s about to come out of my mouth, but I don’t really care about jewelry trends. I like when jewelry has a story and a meaning to it and the trend cycles of what’s in or not don’t really phase me. Am I still going to make videos about it, probably because maybe someone cares, but I just don’t really.
As always, thank you for being here and supporting me in this way xo
