I’m in North Carolina for a week visiting my in laws, so I apologize for the subpar content. I’ll be back to regular scheduled programming next week.
To make up for it, I wanted to do something for my paid subscribers. If you follow me on TikTok, you know one of my favvvvvorite brands for blank tee’s and sweat sets is Hours. They make 100% cotton relaxed fit pieces that are so cozy - I swear they cure my Sunday scaries. WELL, I want to buy a set for one of you so you can experience the amazing-ness that is Hours. I’ll randomly pick one of you guys on Oct 19 and send you a DM. If that person never checks their DM’s, I’ll just pick another.
Anyways, without further adooooo - here’s my brain dump of the moment. Enjoy.
Korean Brands To Know

Eastlogue - I appreciate this brand for its elevated take of outdoor wear. Hunting, fishing and hiking attire is reimagined from a contemporary viewpoint to create modern classics fabricated in premium materials with extraordinary details.
thisisneverthat - Cultivating a unique set of aseptic values, thisisneverthat delivers a snapshot of Korean style with a nod to 90’s and 2000’s skateboard culture. Everything they make has a sort of laid back, cool guy feel - but in a mature way. I am specifically obsessed with the leather jacket they have this season. It’s stunning.
Uniform Bridge - Utility, quality and accessibility is what comes to mind when I think of Uniform Bridge. Inspired by retro style, the brand beautifully bridges (see what I did there) the gap between Korean streetwear and American workwear. Each collection includes wearable sensible garments that have a timeless design.
Andersson Bell - A brand I only recently began following, but is constantly at front of mind for their unique point of view. The label finds inspiration from Scandinavian design, interpreting the clean finishes and muted hues with a modern Korean mindset.
Our Legacy Third Cut Alternatives
We all love the Our Legacy Third Cut Jean. I mean it is the perfect relaxed, wide, straight leg fit. HOWEVER, it’s not exactly easy on the wallet. Depending on the wash, these jeans can be between $330- $420. So here are some of my favorite alternatives under $300:
GAP - ‘90’s Loose Jean
Madewell - 1991 Loose Straight Jean
3sixteen - Relaxed Straight
Sunflower - Wide Twist Jean
Livid - Keri Japan Dawn
Style Nuances For Fall
the simplest outfit can be elevated with an eccentric shoe
similarly, a jeans and hoodie can be elevated with a leather jacket. something about a leather jacket inherently makes your outfit look intentional
layering jackets, i.e a leather jacket on top of a denim jacket - creates interesting dimension
paring a vintage track jacket (something incredibly casual) with a loafer (something that skews more formal) creates tension in your look - we love tension in a look
As always, thank you for being here and supporting me in this way xo
