Winter outfits tend to be so bland and repetitive because function HAS to come before form. It’s hard to serve looks when you’re just trying to survive.
Here are a few tips + some outfit inspo on how to be cozy, warm AND chic for the remainder of the winter.

More really is more this season. Don’t be shy with your layering. Layer a turtleneck under your button down, or a button down under a turtleneck. You really can’t go wrong.
Find some high quality wool socks. Currently I am loving Shiro and Yahae. Both are a splurge but worth every penny, I promise.

There is nothing more annoying than bulky thermal layers. Try Uniqlo’s HeatTech line. Thin, warm and affordable.
Possibly a useless accessory for the winter, but something that will defiantly up the cool factor of your look; pilot sunglasses with a colored tint. It’s giving “I’m fun”.

A good wool coat is key. Something long and elegant. Plain navy, black, gray are all fine; however something hounds tooth, pinstriped or even two toned would be better. Additionally, you could use a belt to snitch the waist of the coat for some shaping.
A man in a crossbody is soo chic. A bag can be especially helpful in the winter. Instead having to constantly ask your wife for Chapstick, you can carry your own. Instead of stuffing your pockets with disgusting used tissues that your wife has to fish out before doing laundry, you can keep them to yourself. IN YOUR BAG. I’m projecting. Let’s move on.

A puffer jacket is also fine. Not my taste, but it’s fine. Similar to the wool coat, try something that’s a step beyond the basic North Face.

Covering your head defiantly will keep you warmer, however, a beanie is not the only form of head wear. Use a scarf and tie it over your head, then bury your face in it when it gets windy. If you’re feeling really extra, you could even go for a winter trooper hat. It’s a commitment, but if done right could be very cool.
Take your most worn boots to the shoe doctor and ask for rubber tread on the bottom. No, it wont ruin the look of your shoes. Yes, it will prevent you from slipping on ice.

Another useless but chic accessory, a thin scarf (see Timothee Chalamet in Paris). Certainly will not keep you warm but will look cool. Personally, I am into the knitted stripped one. The ones that give nostalgic, whimsical, old Gap - you know?
As always, thank you for being here and supporting me in this way xo
