Warmer weather has landed, so lets discuss what your summer closets needs.

Let’s start with the color of the season which is undoubtedly butter yellow. I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again, this is the definition of a dopamine dressing color. It’s so sweet and soft, playful but still so so elegant. You can go so many ways with butter yellow within your clothing, but also it can be chic in your accessories. I love this knit from Corridor. These pants from Eme Studios are sick. If you’re looking to just add some yellow accessories into your wardrobe, I really like this bag from Lemarie.
Now, this is just a prediction of mine so take it with a grain of salt, but I think cerulean is also going to be big this summer. The vibrant color is so fun for summer. It could look great in a shirt, but also in belts and bags.

Stripes continue to be trendy but also quite obvious for this time of year. There are so many ways you can incorporate the pattern - Brenton stripe t-shirts, button downs, cotton pants, linen shorts. You get, wear stripes. I am obsessed with this top from Buck Mason - it’s giving modern nautical. These pants from Elwood are like a more toned down version of the Eme Studio ones I linked above.
Another pattern that has been emerging this season is polka dots. I actually like when polka dots are used in small doses like in a pocket square, silk scarf or broch. You can definitely find polka dot scarves on Etsy or Amazon.

As far as shirts go, your collection should be light, easy and possibly perforated. Think anything knitted or crocheted. Also anything cotton, linen, poplin or seersucker. I love anythinggg from Portuguese Flannel.
For shorts, there is no “it” inseam of the moment. 5”, 7”, 11”, whatever you prefer goes. However, what I do suggest is get something pleated. The extra fabric just lends an air of sophistication to the otherwise casual garment. For something shorter I like Todd Snyder. For something longer I like Universal Works.

Personalized accessories are the move this season. Birthstone rings, letter necklaces, engraved bracelets. the more personality you can inject into your jewelry this season - the better. I love everything from Aurate, Alan Crocetti and Alec Doherty.
As always, thank you so much for being here and supporting me in this way xo
