I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving. I am so so so fucking grateful for all of you, truly.
I know your inbox is probably flooded with Black Friday/Cyber Monday emails - so I apologize to add to the clutter. The truth is, Black Friday stresses me out. I feel pressured to buy things that are on sale and come Monday morning, I just feel sad and regretful. However, after years of Black Friday buyers remorse, I have figured out how to navigate the madness. So here are some of my do’s and don’t’s + a list of my favorite things on sale.
DO
Take inventory of your current closet and note down the things you need to refresh i.e. white tees, socks, button downs etc. Buy those things.
Stock your carts ahead of time. I know a lot of stores have already started their sales, but incase they haven’t - it’s nice to have the things you want in your cart already for a swift get away.
KNOW THE STORES RETURN POLICIES. A lot of times, on sale items are not returnable. Just beware.
Use a price tracking tool like Camel Camel Camel or Honey, they’ll show you the price history of an item so you can ensure you are getting the best deal.
DON’T
Random shop. JUST BECAUSE IT’S ON SALE DOESN’T MEAN YOU NEED IT *glares at husband*. Instead go for items you have been thinking about for sometime and just haven’t pulled the trigger on.
Buy trendy items that will probably go on sale in a few months anyways.
Now for the good shit. Here’s a list of my favorite things on sale for BFCM. I tried to keep it as short as possible to avoid analysis paralysis. Happy shopping, guys!
