No theme, no organization but hopefully still usefully? Enjoy.
Color Combinations To Try
Personally, I have been craving new color combinations in my own wardrobe. Everything feels so played out lately. Brown + Olive, Black + White + Red, Gray + Navy. BORING. I need something more. Something that still feels like winter, but with a little spice.
I love drawing inspiration from observations I make in my real life and implementing them into my wardrobe. Here are a few combos I have been obsessed with lately and that you could/should implement into your next outfit.
Burgundy + Yellow

Yellow was quite the break out star of last year and burgundy is practically a winter neutral at this point. Together they are just, 10 out of 10.
Pale Blue + Brown

Mixing a darker color with a brighter hue is always a recipe for success.
Mustard + Dark Purple

Quirky, moody, but still romantic.
2025 Shoe Trend Predictions
To start, the slim, low profile sneakers we all know and love are about to get a lot slimmer and a lot lower. The almost dainty silhouette is now available at nearly every brand. From Ralph Lauren to Margiela and Adidas to Prada - everyone making sneakers is going skinnier than ever.
On the topic of sneakers, I have this feeling that Nike Shox are going to come back in a big way in 2025. The resurgence kind of started summer/fall of last year and I think the momentum is going to pick up heavily this year.
I think mules are going to be massively popular especially during the spring/summer. Something more elevated than a Birkenstock but still less serious than a loafer. I actually really love the look of a mule, socks and shorts - so fun.
Loafers will never not be in, obviously. But specifically, I think these scrunched toe loafers are going to be pretty popular.
British Brands To Know
Cafe Mountain does functional heritage inspired gear with a stylish and elevated twist. Their aim is to create clothing that can be worn in the wild as well is in the city. I have been following Cafe Mountain since its inception in 2021 and they have continued to be impressed by them ever since. I obviously appreciate their ability to make outdoor wear chic, but what I love most about them is their commitment to the quality of their pieces. They source all of their materials from only top tier mills in the UK, Italy and Japan to produce the most durable yet luxe garments that, I and my husband, are constantly reaching for year after year.
Universal Works does a contemporary take on classic workwear which I love. They have a stellar reputation for their ethical production practices as well as constructing their piece with only the finest materials.
Always with their finger on the pulse of what’s cool about:blank is defiantly leaving its mark on the corner of minimalist fashion. They are my go to brand for quintessential cool guy pieces because of their perfectly clean aesthetic but also because I know their quality will never let me down.
No one does jewelry quiet like Bleue Burnham. This brand has perfectly destroyed the traditional masculine-feminine jewelry divide and completely embraced this new era of jewelry for men.
Ronning makes the best basics with a unique touch. I have always loved their knits but lately I have been particularly drawn to their trousers. Also the quality to price is unbeatable.
As always, thank you for being here and supporting me in this way xo
