I think we can all agree that aesthetic trends don’t mean much these day. Even my last few trend videos felt… nauseatingly shallow. I really believe people are currently skeptical and distrustful of trends. HOWEVER, chic is chic. Chic is timeless. Chic is unquestionable.
Here are a list of style nuances and items I find impossibly chic in menswear right now:
small face watches: with delicate straps - so elegant. even better when stacked with a bracelet or two.
crewneck cardigans: with only 1-2 of the top buttons buttoned
long thin belts: hanging instead of tucked into belt loops
high waisted pants + a tucked in t shirt
double breasted blazers: worn casually over jeans but also with suiting, duh
pops of burgundy: or merlot or bordeaux or any other adjacent wine varietal color.
extra long wool coats: so long you’re giving villain
brown + black styled together: its a skill. if you can master it - immediate respect
canvas totes: from coffee shops/museums/farmer markets
meaningful cufflinks: something with a story
14k gold signet rings: worn on the pinky specifically
horizontal strip shirts: thin strips to be clear
an oversized navy cashmere sweater

As always thank you for being here xo
